Terms of Service

Last reviewed : December 2022

  • It is your (the client) responsibility to read these terms carefully.

  • By commissioning me (Seii-a) you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.

  • Personal information on either side may not be used for any other purpose.

  • Send me the filled out form to reserve a slot.

  • Payment must be made before I start on your commission.

  • I will send you a sketch for approval before I continue.

  • Purchase only covers the digital art.

  • If you are not happy with something you must tell me as soon as possible and I will correct it for you.

  • I cannot make major revisions to the final piece so it's your responsibility to speak up as early as possible.

  • You may cancel your commission, only if I have not started it/am just starting.

  • No refund is given after a commission has progressed past the sketch stage.

  • I, Seii-a, retain all rights to the artwork.

  • I am able to use the art however I want i.e. share online, in a portfolio UNLESS agreed otherwise with the client

  • You will retain all rights to your character.

  • You are free to share your commission only if you give appropriate credit i.e. provide a link back to me.

  • By default regular commissions are non commercial only.

  • For commercial usage there will be a flat flee discussed prior.

⚝ When did you start drawing?
I've been drawing since I could hold a pen, but I have been drawing digitally since around 2012.⚝ What software do you use?
I am currently using Clip Studio Paint and will occasionally use Paint Tool SAI.⚝ What about your equipment?
I have a XP-Pen display tablet that I use at home and I use an iPad Air (7th gen) when I'm away from home.

Commissions

⚝ Is my character too detailed?
The short answer is no, probably not. I enjoy working with detailed characters, but it depends on the size/type of commission i.e. there may be less details viable on a chibi than a full body so your character may be simplified.⚝ Are you comfortable drawing...?
I am quite comfortable drawing most things, including most ships, simple gore, slight nsfw. I will not draw any kind of morally questionable situations.⚝ Can you draw furries/anthro characters?
This is a field I have little interest in and therefore am not confident in drawing.⚝ How long will my commission take?
I try my best to complete commissions as quickly as possible, 1-3 weeks. But I am human, and it's difficult to predict when I may need to take a break. I will always notify you if there are any problems/setbacks.⚝ Can I change the character/a detail?
If I haven't started/am in the sketch phase the yes. Please notify me ASAP.⚝ Can you keep my commission private?
Yes. Absolutely! Just let me know. There is no fee.⚝ I'm not happy with something, can you change this?
I want to make sure you are happy with the final product so please let me know if you'd like me to make any changes. That said, I cannot make large edits to the final product, so please notify me as early as possible.⚝ Can I post my commission?
Yes, but you must not claim the art as your own, and please credit me properly by linking to me (any of my socials are fine).⚝ Are terms of service really that important?
Yes! They not only protect me as an artist but you too as a customer.
